Your driving factor must be WAY more than money. Now, here are some examples of my personal WHY’s: –

·         I desire to enjoy my life to its fullest and spend a lot of time with the people I love. 

·         I desire to travel the world and discover this wondrous planet with my wife and eventually my kids. 

·         I desire to have fun every day of my life, and have the freedom to do what I choose to do when I choose to do it.

·         I have a desire to create a community of people that help each other and want the best for one another. 

·         I am passionate about helping people and giving them the best of me every time we talk.

·         I desire to be wealthy!

This is a short list and my WHY’s list keeps on getting longer and longer everyday. This list is a work in progress.

The next step is finding the right Network Marketing Company for you!  Now, this following section might offend some of you, if you are one of those then you might want to ask yourself WHY? Some people have a hard time accepting the TRUTH when it is presented to them, but keep on reading and you can later share your thoughts with me.

The first thing you should know about Network Marketing companies is that 99% of them never make it past their first 2 years of existence and 90% of those that do make it past their first 2 years never make it past their first 5 years. 

So the question I’m going to ask you is how big of a gambler are you?  Companies that advertise that you need to get in now or else you’ll miss out…well…these companies are attracting people out of FEAR of LOSS and HYPE!

The TRUTH is: “This does not make for an opportunity to create LONG TERM residual income that will be around to pay your children’s children”.

We have all heard of Network Marketing, MLM, Multi-Level-Marketing, Direct Sales, Affiliate Programs…IT DOESN’T MATTER HOW YOU CALL IT! 

They are all built on the same principle and are all systems to create additional income from home. They are all businesses based on people talking to people to promote a product or service.  Here is the funny thing about this…WE DO IT EVERYDAY! 

The only difference is that most of us don’t get paid for it.  How many times have you told a family member, a friend, even a stranger about a product or a service that you use and love or hate, even a movie that you saw and what you thought of it? You are Networking everyday!

Here is what everybody NEEDS to know before joining ANY Network Marketing company. The first thing you must ask yourself is WHY?  Why are you choosing to join a Network Marketing company?  There are many reasons why people choose to join a Network Marketing company.  It may be because they like the product or the service however; ultimately the reason why people join is for the Business opportunity and the opportunity to create Freedom in their lives. 

I say this because if you are joining a Network Marketing company based solely on how great the products are or how great the services are you are cheating yourself.

The TRUTH is; “You can get great products and great services at value prices everywhere”.

When I started coaching people, they would write their “WHY”… usually money.  They’d need to pay a big hospital bill, or replace a car.  Whatever…But your real “WHY” is never money. It’s about who YOU really are.

MLM Most important “ask to see their P & P’s.”

Great. You’re looking for an opportunity.  

Whether you join my company or not, whether you work with us or not, I want you to know how critical it is that you pick the right company. 

We do a complete training on the 5 Pillars you need for success in your network marketing business.

But really and truly, the only pillar you need to worry about when you’re looking at a company to start with is Pillar #1. If the company doesn’t have Pillar 1, there’s no sense worrying if they’ve got 2, 3, 4, or 5. Because Pillar1 is company management experience with integrity. 

Now I’m telling you, almost nobody reads their P &Ps. And if they do only after they have joined a company and already agreed to them, even before reading them. 

So how do you know a company has integrity?

Read the contract. Read their Policies & Procedures. That is YOUR contract with your company. In fact, I’d like you to read ours. Ours is 3 pages, big print. You’ll find some P & Ps that are 33 pages, 68 pages, 13 pages. Remember, every word on all those pages is written by the company lawyers. Our company P & P, by the way, is 3 pageslong.   

“You may terminate your agreement at any time by providing written notice to Company. ” And I would even say, “Hey, you don’t mind that one, do you? You want to be able to quit. But here’s where it gets interesting: 

This is from a very reputable company; watch out for things like these.  “10.3. Agreement Terminable at Will

You may terminate your relationship with Company XXX at any time by providing a signed written notice to Company XXX. Company XXX may also terminate the relationship with you (including any partnerships, corporations or other entity) at any time by providing written notice. You or Company XXX are not required to have any reason, nor do you or Company XXX have to claim or prove any cause to terminate this relationship. If and when the relationship is terminated, you shall have no claim against Company XXX nor any right to claim or collect lost profits, lost opportunities or any other damages. Termination will result in the loss of all benefits as a Company XXX Independent Consultant.

 No promises or assurances have been made to you that the relationship will continue for any particular or specified period or term, or that you will ultimately attain, achieve or realize any or all of the success or benefits of the opportunity made available by Company XXX.” 

Does this look like something in Your Policies and Procedures?

It is imperative that you educate yourself on these things, BEFORE you join any company. Do you know what else to look for? The more you read the more you learn, educate yourself. To Your Success,

No Good Deed Goes Unpunished

People ask me:

• “Your e-book is great! Why on earth do you give it away free?

• “Your telephone training is great! Why is it free?”

• “Your ‘Colors’ CD is great! Why is it so cheap?”

• “Why do you help me for free when I’m not in your company?”

• … and a dozen other variations.

In the early 1990s, I joined over 100 MLM opportunities. I tracked, cataloged, analyzed & evaluated EVERYTHING they did: products, compensation plans, marketing, distributor support, profitability, etc.

The Ugly Results

I’m a fun-loving, easy-going guy. But my teeth clenched and my fingers curled into fists of rage.

I was stunned by how many companies and “Heavy Hitters” make HUGE profits NOT on product sales, but instead by selling a ton of worthless marketing materials to the distributors who trust and believe in them!

I get mad just thinking about it. This is why you find widespread cynicism & skepticism amongst network marketers.

I can’t blame them.

But you should hear the calls I get from people trying to figure out how I’m going to bamboozle them.

First, they figure I’m trying to steal their people.

Fact is, they don’t HAVE any people. None who trust them, anyway.

Many uplines’ idea of support is to tell you the lies we’ll cover in Chapter 1.

TRUE support is to take you by the hand and lead you through every step of this business, so you can actually experience it in real time and get good at it.

THAT is what we do on our phone calls.

No company is ever mentioned on those calls. No product is mentioned. No one is ever recruited.

Develop Your Wealth Mentality In Network Marketing

Your mindset will make or break you in network marketing. That is why it is so CRUCIAL to develop the wealth mentality first and foremost…and prime yourself for nothing but success. So what is the wealth mentality?

Believe in Yourself, Do not change You are fine the way you are!

It is believing that there is absolutely nothing that can stop you from manifesting your goals.

And it is having faith and conviction in your own abilities that is so powerful it could cut through steel.

When you build that level of confidence in yourself…nothing can stop you. People feel the energy within You, they feel how powerful you are, and they want to be a part of it. That is what attracts people to want to join YOUR network marketing organization.

Each day…you should be challenging yourself, working on yourself, and growing more and more.

At a certain point when you have developed all these qualities, you are able to effortlessly manifest wealth into your life almost out of thin air. I know this because I do it, now.

But you don’t get to this point unless you have developed your own mindset to be powerful enough to do it. Start by removing the chatter in your mind, all the negative energies coming to your mind, all the bad news, music, songs stop reading the newspaper.
